Nela Duke Ekpenyong

Nela Duke Ekpenyong worked in the developmental sector for 6-years before joining APF. She started her career as a Developmental Editor in a Swiss magazine, after which she worked for various non-governmental organisations before re-launching an environmental NGO in Cross River State in 2015. Her experience has given her a deep understanding of the developmental sector in Africa. Through her work, she garnered skills in people management, event management, content writing, and grant writing. Nela is a passionate environmentalist, and an amateur mountaineer and explorer. She holds a degree from Loughborough University in International Relations.

 

Nela is a conservationist, humanitarian and social entrepreneur. She believes in systemic change and collaboration to solve Africa's complex, social and environmental problems. She is the CEO and founder of Obudu Mountain Farms.
